Nice job, even the perspective for the most part is spot on (the floor seems a -little- curved up, but maybe its just me. ) The composition is nice too. I think without the sunlight it wouldn't be nearly as interesting.
Its also really admirable to see an interior. Most often I see the site dedicated to the human figure. Applausee!!! =D
If I can suggest, maybe look at de-saturating your colours a bit. This might not be the best example for dull colours, but the way they use a light source is interesting, like yours:
Thing is, they don't make the sun streams visible, if at all. Although there are times when you can actually see sun streams, they are often blurred, to the point where you need to walk around a bit to see them. I think you can still use the sunlight as a compositional element (as I said before, its important) but maybe less bold.
