Pff I can't draw horse head and legs at all without a ref and badly with a ref.
Here I used a ref for the pose, but all the colouring and lights are from my head.
It looks half chocolate. Mmmm, chocolate...
I'm not a 100% horse maniac, but I like them a lot.

Absolutely awesome Great shading and yes, it looks like choco-banana, but it also does look like gold. Great work!
I have a friend who'd do a back flip over this. She's horse crazy, so much so, she gets to be a pro jocky next year.
The shading is outstanding, and very very clean. =D
