Welp! Aaaah I got some esplainin' to do.

Lately, I've gotten some criticism (Thanks, Bri!) about the way my characters work. Mostly in design. And after some thought, I decided that she was right.

They might have looked good, but they didn't look, y'know, like they would work well in real life.

So I decided

that a redesign was older. But then I thought, with the era they're in, well, that would be hard to make something really good, or different. And then I thought

What about a more modern age? An age I REALLY KNOW ABOUT?!?

And then I kept entertaining that thought for a while. And then I stuck with it, mostly for design purposes, but then the technology and government stylings would really help make the story easier to write.

And I was like "YES THIS IS A GOOD IDEA"

and I kept going and going and I redesigned some characters

and well, Miasma's the first! You'll see more later!

I really hope this is a good idea, because I sure thought so!

Enjoy, kids, yeah?

If you have any questions, please ask, because I love to answer!

Kodfish Says:

It looks pretty good here.
Hats are always cool. B)

The shift to modern-times, eh? Will it change your story much? I wonder.

What's happened to Sarin?

Triple Q Says:

is 'a new direction' supposed to be a pun relating to where she's pointing?

Spilled Salt Says:

I liked the older, more magical fantasy direction it was in D:

And now to play the waiting game...

Nice modernistic design.

AndyXP Says:

Oh this is swell yes

Zetsubou Eureka Says:

I liked her old design too. So if you can, keep it as well, at least for flashbacks and generally diddly do.

Knux Fan Lampshade Says:

Was this in any way inspired by Frankie from Fosters home for imaginary friends?

Frario Says:

She looks cool. Kudos on the clothes/design
