And though my wings are made of naught but glitter and glue...you will not take them from me.
My mood today. I tried to draw the holes in her back where the wings plug into...but failed. I didn't colour them dark like her, I may later, but for now...it seems like too much darkness. I want a background eventually...maybe...but I don't want to make this too busy.

I agree...a background would take away from the raw impact this image has. I love it. It has a sheer emotional power I find very appealing.
