10. Part three

art three:.
Within fifteen minutes, Ava was prepped and ready to meet Count Morias. She didn’t understand it, the whole idea was for her to confront her father and discover the purpose of her father’s absence for most of her life, but now, she’s dining with him in a luxurious castle, with maids waiting on her hand and foot, and being presented with a beautiful dress and a white gold tiara?! She felt a sudden chill go down her spin, causing her tail to flicker with agitation.
“Princess, you look beautiful,” said Blaine, as he entered whilst Ava was having her hair braided and was having the black and blue corset fitted around her bust.
“Master, I ask for you to wait until Avania is respectively dressed!” Sky tried to usher the wolf out,
“No,” Ava said, turning to him with an array of sexy lingerie on. “Let him stay, I have some questions to be answered,” she said, glaring at him. She knew something was very wrong with this place, and she wanted to hurry up and get out.
Blaine looked slightly surprised with this, but none the less, sat down as Ava instructed.
“Princess?!”
Ava stopped him, and sat down as Sky brought the dress out and carefully placed her into it.
“Why am I Princess? All I wanted to do is speak with Morias, because the guy I think is my dad and knows how I get rid of being a Vampire!”
The word ‘Vampire’ made the three maids hiss at Ava, and Blaine’s ears were pulled back.
“Princess!” Blaine stood up and drew a silver blade to her neck. “Don’t ever, defy the gift in which you’ve been given by God!” his eyes grew into slits. “Maid Sky, please take Princess Avania to the bathroom and speak with her, I am slowly beginning to loose my patience with the young lady,”
He replaced the sword back into it’s hostel and turned away, “I beg that you stay for a little while longer Princess,” his eyes were filled with a fear, one that Ava never saw before.
She then nodded.
He paced the corridor before Ava’s room, then as the door opened, he turned, and out stepped Ava. Her brown eyes were turned away from him, her ears were dropped. Blaine’s mouth dropped. The way that Sky has position her fringe around her silver coloured tiara was enough to give off the illusion that Ava was perfect, her earring was removed as was her silver locket. Ava was fashioned in a white and blue dress that was made of silk, with sapphires, diamonds and aquamarines covering the front of the corset. There was a slit down the middle which hid her left leg, but revealed her right leg. Her leg seemed so slender like the touch of a white ribbon, she had a white and black garter placed on her right leg and a pair of shining leather boots was worn under her dress.
“I’m ready now,” she smiled, and walked past him. As Blaine finally awoke from his random day dream.
“Oh yeah,” ran to her side and took her arm.
“You look, beautiful,” he whispered to her. The slightest grin appeared on his face. Ava turned away from him slightly, but as the two walked down the stairs, at the foot stood a tall black and white wolf with his tail held high.
Ava took a deep breath. "Princess, this is his Highness Count Morias," Blaine bowed down to the wolf, Morias's dull eyes scanned Blaine up and down, completely ignoring the fact that there stood his daughter whom he hasn't seen for over ten years.
"Father?" Ava stated, her ears were crooked, one being up whilst the other was down. Her breathing became faster and faster as Blaine stepped back and left bowed to the Count.
"You shall address me as papa,"
Ava was quite shocked because of this. Morias opened his arms, and smiled. "Come to me my daughter!"
The female felt like she was going to choke, she had a parent, someone of her blood, and she felt it was her duty to kill him. She couldn't possibly.
"Papa?" Ava managed to splutter as Morias strides towards her and engulfed her in his large arms. He seemed to tower over her by a head, but Ava was tall for a female Mobian of her age.
She hugged him back, trying desperately to find some sign of life on him, a heartbeat, but, there was nothing. His scent was strong with blood, this just caused Ava to bury her head into his chest. He felt so cold.
"That's right my darling, papa's going to make it all better," he smiled, stroking her hair as she began to cry.
"Is that all you can say? Not an apology for killing my mother and my brother?! YOUR WIFE AND SON!?" Ava was shaking now.
"Avania, it is not in the Night nature to be so forward, come, let us dine," he smiled, taking her by the arm. But Ava stood her ground, "Avania?"
"Morias, I want my questions answered now!" she shouted, causing a door to slam open.
Out of the shadows stepped forwards a female grey wolf with black curly hair and deep blue eyes.
"Morias my dear, what one Mobius is going on?" she spoke in a slight german accent, Ava recognised her from somewhere, she was Blaine's sister.
"This, my darling wife, is your step-daughter, my own flesh and blood,"
She stepped towards Ava, her mouth opened a gap. She was wearing a black and red gothic dress that just managed to hold her buldging belly, Ava already sussed she was pregnant.
"Morias, she's beautiful," his wife smiled.
"Avania, this is my darling wife Belle,"
Belle smiled and kissed Ava on the cheek.
"You look just like your mother," Belle whispered in Ava's ear.
"How far along are you?" Ava asked, trying hard to change the subject about her mother.
"Anyday now my dear," the second Belle said 'dear' Ava noticed how long her fangs were. "Oh, fear not my dear, I don't take the innocence of the half-blood," she smiled.
Morias coughed.
"Erhm, half-blood?" Ava said, pretending to correct her hearing,
"Yes my dear, because never in the history of the Vampier Heritage, there has never been a half breed before, just meerly calling you what you are," Belle smiled innocently.
Ava replied the smile,
"I admire that about you, but I came her in search of a cure of my curse," Ava kept smiling, whilst Morias's and Belle's eyes grew into slits.
"You wouldn't last three seconds here if you didn't have Vampier blood!" Morias shouted.
"My dear," Belle raised her voice, "don't raise your voice to her, clearly she's grown up and made a decision, it's your job now as a father to keep her hopes in your best interests, no matter how much you disapprove, yes?" Belle said, smiling at Ava.
Surprisingly, Ava had taken a liking towards her newly acquainted step-mother. "Yes?"
"I understand my dear, but the last thing she should be shouting is how she's getting rid of this 'curse'" he muttered quietly as Ava turned to glance up at a large oil painting on the wall.
Morias had lowered his ears, "I can't handle her my wife, she must be rid of as fast as possible," Ava's left ear twitched, she knew she was in danger, but still needed to get rid of this curse.
"Step-mother Belle?" she asked cautiously,
"Call me Belle dear," the wolf said as Ava turned away from the large painting she had spent a few minutes to admire.
"I was hoping that you and I may go for a walk," she smiled.
Belle nodded and smiled.
"Anything for you, darling,"
Belle reached for Ava's hand and the two walked outside, the sky was dark but it wasn't raining, and there was a little bit of moon shining from behind the thick black clouds. Ava's gown looked ghostly in the starlight. The pregnant wolf sat back on a gothic styled bench and cleared her throat. Ava's wings fluttered slightly, they're creased away, but she felt a lot more relaxed, and sensed she was going to be here for a little while. "Avania?"
Ava's ears pricked up, "I was hoping to warn you before you saw your father, you know the reason he wanted you here correct?"
She then lowered her ears,
"He wants rid of me doesn't he?" Ava asked sorrowfully, but she saw the fear and sadness arrive in Belle's eyes. Belle placed her head in her hands. "That was the real reason right?"
"Yes my dear, Blaine is my younger brother, and I warned him to stay out of your father's bad side, but Blaine kept on trying Morias' patience," Belle sobbed. She too had wings, but they were red and black, and opened compared to Ava's wings which was crumpled against her dress. "I warned him, but then Morias managed to sniff you out, I do believe you were kept in a contained unit with a family friend named Celeste," Belle managed to say, she was beginning to shudder until Ava placed her hand on her step-mother's shoulder.
"Belle, I know what you're on about, but to be honest, I haven't the faintest idea who Celeste is, and I was nearly killed in a fire at about seven, that's all I remember," Ava said, her English accent sounding so strong compared to Belle's German accent.
