Callous
Without my ring preciously
Wrapped around my digit
I wither, worthless, decimated-
I sputter, writhe and fidget
Exchanging last words with your shell
While strangling tears and spittle
I gurgle out endearing pleas
With which you respond in riddles
A bedpan wouldn't suit your independence,
I couldn't call you coy
All your years of malcontent bare dents
As keen as aluminum alloy
Medicinal methods, What of them?
They are such comprehensible curses
That hurt like pulling wisdom teeth
Or pulling loaded hearses
Blotchy skin like denim whose sweat
Pulls me down in the earth,
The taste, familiar, on my tongue
Holds the flavor of self-worth
Now I, the cream, with akathisia,
Acknowledge how hard you were to keep
And from whence came my inevitable proclamation:
Leave me forever in my sleep
