I'm not familiar with the original ring and what it is supposed to look like but the seams on the shield thing or what look like seams/grooves? are kinda standing out at me right now.
Did you use metal clays for this? As I was telling crimson as far as I knew regular fimo can't stand up to being worn like a ring without snapping at some point down the line.
It is a very nice ring, if it isn't metal fimo I really hope it lasts a long time for ya. :)
