This is New Jersey's state bird. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take this 3rd shot after the first 2 being blurry. I really like the bird's pose and how sharp he stands out. ^^ This was on a fence of a large reserved field where deer constantly roam around from 7:30pm to dark.

Awesome I see finches all the time in Indiana (My cat even killed one once D:) but I also see Cardinals which is our state bird but mostly in the winter

The birds pose is BEAUZTIFUL...makes me want to draw it. SO. BAD.
Its a Goldfinch am I right? I believe ours is a meadow lark.

I can't get a shot this beautiful of my state bird... Because mine is considered a pest
