OH MY GOD, DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG THIS TOOK?! Grass is so hard to draw! it's just so static... it gets boring...
But, it's finished, so I guess that's a start, I played around with the midtones in Office Picture Manager because the scanner made it too light (although this is a little too dark) so it's a little dark for pencil. I like the concept but I hate the modern background that leads into the trees... it's so ugly... but there's nothing I can do to fix it. Ah well, it's done and I'm not touching it ever again.
This is why I hate drawing backgrounds (although I really like the flowers on the right).

This is very well done. I like the two tree's and I like the detail you put into the vines(?correct me if I'm wrong? :). You are evidence that practice does make perfect. I mean look how far you've come.

But this is a really cool concept. And yeah... usually I don't have the patience to go through the whole repetitive background detail thing. I commend you for that.
