An Unexpected Friendship~Tora/Hiroto
Chapter 1
The girls had finally arrived in Hawaii after 12 hours on a hot and stuffy plane. The smaller of the two made a big scene of breathing in the humid, salty air as they walked down the stairs and across the hot tarmac of Honolulu’s airport.
“Scar! Stop making a scene!” The taller girl scolded.
“Sorry, Dawny! I’m just really excited!” Scarlett said as she turned to wink at her sister before walking into the line for passport control. Dawn rolled her eyes and followed quickly.
After they’d gotten through passport control and collected their large bags, they hailed a taxi and clambered inside.
“Ilikai Hotel please!” Scarlett chirped when they’d placed their bags so that they would fly into the glass separating the driver from the passengers if they braked. The driver nodded and pulled out and onto the busy road surrounding the airport. Scarlett settled back and opened a window, letting cool air sweep inside the small space between the two girls. Both girls quickly pulled their dark diesel sunglasses over their eyes as the sun appeared from behind the buildings that were scattered about. Dawn pulled her long, brown hair from behind her and tied it in a messy bun so the air could get to her sweaty neck; Scarlett did the same but tucked it into her black pinstriped fedora hat as she lacked a hair band.

“Man, I forgot how hot it was here!” Dawn groaned as she too opened her window.
“Well, you haven’t been here for at least four years!” Scarlett laughed. Dawn laughed as well and nodded before they watched the scenery that flew by as they turned onto the motorway.
They reached the hotel and grabbed their bags before they paid the driver and scrambled out and into the lobby. The receptionist looked up and smiled as the two teens approached.
“How may I help you?” she asked flicking her long brown hair over her shoulder.
“Dawn Anderson and Scarlett Chariott?” Dawn asked as she put her heavy bag on the floor. The receptionist tapped away at her computer for a minute before she looked at them, smiled and grabbed a room key off of the wall behind her.
“Room 895. Ocean view.” She said as we thanked her and walked over to the elevator. Scarlett pressed floor 8 and they ascended up to their designated floor.
The elevator stopped and the two sisters stepped out and began to search for the right room. They found it a minute later and slid the key into the lock.
“Man, I hope it’s as nice as the picture!” Scarlett breathed as Dawn pushed open the door and they stepped inside. Scarlett gasped as she gazed around the room in awe, her jaw hanging open.
Dawn giggled as she dumped her bag at the foot of the bed before she sat on it, shooting Scarlett a look that said ‘It’s mine’. Scarlett shrugged and threw her bag on her bed before she moved over to the balcony, slid open the door and glided out to admire the view.
“You are soo lucky you got to come here with your family! It’s beautiful!” Dawn heard Scarlett say from where she lounged on her comfy bed.
“Do you want to take a look around the city?” The brunette asked. Scarlett turned to face her, a smile lighting up her face.
“Now!” she screeched as she grabbed Dawns hand and dragged her out of the room.
