Yes, it's a new black mage OC. His name is Shirogane, and he's the son of a human black mage and a viera white mage. Why, you ask?
Here's the thing: In my Final Fantasy Tactics Advance gamefile, I have two characters (not storyline) that I always use: Nobel the human black mage, and Pauline the viera white mage. And somehow, no matter what I try to do, Nobel ends up near Pauline on the field and takes damage for her. Now the funny thing is, Pauline, though a white mage, seems to be able to take massive amounts of damage before she gets K.O'd but Nobel can only take one or two hits and he's down. But for some reason, he always seems to end up right next to Pauline and ends up taking hits for her.
So based on this bizarre happenstance in my game, I got the idea that eventually Nobel's chivalry would win over Pauline and they would get married and have a son or whatever. And though he'd been a human (because there are no male viera) and a black mage (most likely) he'd have silver hair from what little genetics he inherited from his mother.
Call me redonkulous if you will. I just like the idea.
