Yeah,I finally did it! This is my entry for the Savannah's calender project. I organised this whole project and so I'm one of the least that finishe their picture Really funny!
I'm so proud of it! October ist my favorite month (yeah,because my birthday is 2nd October ) and I love the atmosphere in autumn - as much as I love the savannah :)So this goes to all my friends in the savannah! :heart:
-My character Shungi is in the forground.
In the background:
-the white lioness Kirauni and her husband Kanu. I really really love this people! They did so much for me and gave me the hope to go on :) I hope our friendship will never end!
I don't know if you can see that on the picture,but I tried to shade this both characters a bit differnt. I wanted to give them quite a few "special markings" because for me they are "the queen and king " (yeaaaaah I know - we have democatie in the savannah but I don't care)
-the little fellow between the leaves is my dear friend Themis :) I visited her in Cologne this year and I promised to put her on my picture,too
-Atimon,the little meerkat She wanted me to draw her too,but I think she turned out too little and therefore a bit disappointing :/ I tired,I hope it's ok!
-Batian,the brown lion. He is looking a bit amused at funny Themis^^'
He's the oldest of us all and became one of my closest friends
I think the character turned out quite good. I really like the shadowing!
-And last but not least out sweet grey Lion S-TLK. There was not much space left,but I just HAD to draw him. 1. he's sooooo nice and 2. he's got bitrhday in october,too

Every pencil I used for this picture was made by myself. I hate to use someone others pencils...even for grass!
It was a bit complicated to draw without my tablett,but I think I managed it quite good :)
