A long overdue art trade with my friend Brady. He asked for such a scenario as this, with Wade Wilson, Deadpool, deciding to move in with Slade Wilson, Deathstroke. Comedy ensues! Deadpool, as you all well know by now, is my favorite ever superpowered-type-dude, so I was very psyched to be asked to draw him.

Decided to get kinda experimental with this. The lines are done in India ink with a brush, and the three elements of Deathstoke, Deadpool, and the door were actually all drawn on three different pieces of paper, which is very abnormal for me. I was gonna draw, like, bunny slippers on Slade, and give him a cat that was wrapping itself around his ankles, but it was just not a day for me, as far as drawing legs. I hope it's funny that he's hanging out at home in costume and that he's drinking milk? And that he's got, like, a house in the suburbs? That's supposed to be a house in the suburbs. I'm sure it's impossible to tell. This was all assembled and colored in Photoshop CS3.

Anyway! Deadpool. I should totally have given him more guns and stuff.

To paraphrase a familiar theme song

“On September 29th, Wade Wilson was asked to remove himself from his place of residence. That request came from his sanity. Deep down, he knew that he was crazy, but also knew that some day he would be crazier. With nowhere else to go, he appeared at the home of his cousin (or something) Slade Wilson. Several years earlier, his sanity had thrown him out and made him a questionable parent. Can two guns-for-hire share an apartment without killing each other?” *cue theme music*

That's the first thing that came to mind.

I really like this. I love how animated Deadpool looks here! I also really like the fact that you seem to have colored the whole thing using the old "dot" technology of classic comics. Very nice touch! I knew it looked a little different, but couldn't put my finger on it until I read that you did these as seperate elements and then put them together. I think it gives the whole thing some depth. Anyhow, great work on this!

And as an after thought, probably due to Teen Titans, I look at death stroke and hear Ron Perlman saying, "Go away, I'm just trying to enjoy my moo juice in peace."
