Cats Out of the Bag

I had to do this for my New Media class. It's supposed to be a compilation of music and noise that doesn't really sound like music, but it's not exactly noise either. It's hard to explain at the moment since this is such a new thing for me, but I like how it all turned out. It's rather hilarious to listen to.

I named this work "Cats Out of the Bag" b/c of the yodeling cats you hear in the beginning and b/c the chaos of the entire piece is supposed to represent cats running rampant after being let out of a bag? IDK OK? lol It's my first time doing something like this so go easy on me.

I still have many changes to make. My teacher told me today that, in order to achieve the music/noise thing, I need to cut back on the dance music part and use more noise like I did in the very beginning of the piece. I agree with him, but I'll be setting aside this copy for myself anyway. I definitely need to fix the transitions into each section of this piece. That bugs me a little.

Some of these clips were only used for like, 3 seconds so I'm sure it's hard to notice them. Not to mention I warped the hell out of most of the audio so that it wouldn't sound like it's original content. Yay me.
