I haven't done needlepoint in FOREVER, but I've taken up crocheting recently, and as I was working on a large project, it occurred to me that I could use the same pattern I was using to apply it to a needlepoint coaster. After a day's worth of work, here is the result.
The coaster has two sides - on one side, you have a Chompy who's only contemplating biting you. On the other, he's decided to go ahead and do it. :3
For those of you who don't recognize him, Chompy is a character from the Super Mario Bros. video games called a "chain chomp." Think of them as large, black, spherical-bodied guard dog things that like to chomp Mario as he walks by them. They're usually tethered to a post or the ground by a chain, which is why I also made a short length of chain and attached it to him. :p
