I had a converstaion with my friend and she accidentally said something that might be translated as "eye forest"
It was hilarious at the moment, but it also got me inspired to paint this...
"There is an element of threat and meaning here, but its hard to decipher whom is the threat and whom is the agonist."

Nice. I like the way you did the shadows. It really helps give the forest floor texture.
Might I suggest something? In the shading of the trees, the shadow is very absolute. Almost always there is ambient lighting. Which means that the darkest shading will pretty much never be at the far side of a round object. It will usually be about 3/4 of the way over. For example, the trees here. The darkest shading should probably be offset from the center of the pic. And then on the other side, there would be some greyish type lighting.
Man, I really hope that made sense. If not, just tell me!
