Some fan art for the necromancer Murdoch from Sins. I've always liked this character, and have done art of him before, and the current arc of Sins is focusing on him, so I felt like drawing him.
This is a much... darker... version of him then the art I've done before. Previously, I've drawn him a total pretty boy who doesn't seem all that sinister - but after the latest update, when Balance tells him that he's not good for the natural order of things, I felt like delving into his darker side. So I tried to draw him almost corpse-like skinny, with a rather unpleasant face. His, eh, 'workshop' has a sinister, 'black magic' sort of look to it. And yes, he's holding a human heart.
I don't really think that the character of Murdoch is really this dark, and that he's really a pretty nice guy who just has a fascination with death. But we know from his horn that his necromancy has tainted him... so what if he was even further tainted?
I may color this eventually.
