.: Paradigm Shift :.

A paradigm shift: “An acceptance by a majority of a changed belief, attitude, or way of doing things”

His existence escaped my mind; a character of no noticeable qualities, inconceivable talent or significant position. After our 10 second introduction, he became merely another person in a sea of faces that I encounter only once on the road of life, walking in the opposite direction. There are people on this road that walk with me for a little while; others walk with me halfway. I’ve realized that, with life's many twists and turns, in the end, I have to complete this course on my own. I remain unsure of how long this road really is or what lies at the end. To some extent, this fact of uncertainty scares me. Life seemed like a blur of obscure people and abstract plans – an undefined reality with no clear path. Further down the road, I would realize that this stranger, who escaped my mind, was bound to me by invisible chains. Inevitably, many years later and on a different road, we would meet again and I would realize that something seemingly insignificant can unexpectedly alter your perspective, and with it, your life. A paradigm shift would occur.

The beginning of my personal essay that I wrote in my Writer's Craft Class (EWC4UR.-01). I left out the rest. Personal. Haha.

So what is a paradigm shift?
See if you can see through the foggy metaphors and illusions.

Psh... you didn't leave out the rest cause it's "personal"... just cause the rest of it is terrible compared to this. I know how you work, Ms. Watcher.

Not to mention, I helped edit it...
