A drawing done for my friend Jordin, of her original mermaid character Llumi. I actually messed up on her at first, drawing her with peach toned skin rather then the blue skin =/ She originally had blueish skin. They both looked good to me so I kept them both.
Drawn with a Graphire Wacom Tablet and Photoshop CS3.

I like the one on the left, i dunno i think the tan colored skin fits contrasts more with the hair. Not saying the other one doesn't look good, coz it does, very beautiful, but i think she is too muted with the blueish skin...

There is something really wrong with her chin. It looks like most of her jawbone has mysteriously disappeared, which makes her face look real awkward.
Also, the lack of detail in the shoulder-neck area is odd (where are the collarbones?) compared to the detail on the rest of the pic.
The cloth on her looks unnatural, plus the bubbles don't fit the style (they're repetitive and the brush is too soft-looking).
