Requiem

Books talking about every person have an inner demon. What nonsense. If they just known a piece from that I know…

It was a nice, moon-lighted night. Only a soft, nice sound, a melody’s note broke the silent of the cemetery. The source of the music came from a top of a big cross, to be exact from a guy who wore black clothes and hat, hold a guitar in his hand. His eyes were closed as he concentrated to the melody, his fingers moved by themselves on the strings.

“Ah how sad is the night wind, here in the cemetery. And I just wait to being found, deep in my grave.”

There was sound of footsteps then a bunch of person appeared.

“Great, this stupid kid again” mocked one.

“Why not you run back to mommy and play music there?” shouted to him another.

The guy stopped the guitar playing “Oh C’mon. I’m not in your ways and you neither in my way. Just leave me alone, this night is so beautiful.”

For this the others just laughed.

“This is our territory, Chill. And you’re nothing but a splint in our eyes”

Chill sighed.

“Can I kill them?” sounded a deep, ominous voice from somewhere.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea” answered Chill. The gang glanced confused.

“What is he talking with?”

“Stop this stupidness!” frowned at him the leader. Pulled Chill off the stone-cross and shook him. “How dare you making fool by us you little vermin?”

“Hey, calm down please…” moaned Chill.

“Oh please, these are only varmints. Let me play with them I want to feel their warm blood splashing onto my face” growled the same voice dreadfully.

“You just shut up!” shouted the boy.

“You menacing us?” roared the leader and slapped him across the face. He fell onto the ground. “Hold him! Now I give him a lesson” two muscled man grabbed him by the arms and hold him while the boss hit him.

Chill groaned by every punch.

“You let it? Let them playing with you like with a ragdoll?” said the other voice “Let me help”

“No…”

“I shall settle them!”

“No.”

“Let me shed their blood. Hurry up!”

“No!” shouted Chill.

“Hehe, it seems he’s begging for our mercy” laughed the leader. The boy gasped for air, hanging his head.

“For mercy? Don’t hope it…” panted. His voice sounded strange, bit sarcastic.

“What? You want some more hit?” snarled the big man.

“If I were you I would beg for mercy, disgusting corpse-robbers!”

“No way!”

“You wanted it…” Chill let out a rattle. His body stretched in the huge guys’ arms.

“Pathetic try. Nobody can escape from my men’s grasp.” mocked the leader. Suddenly shock appeared on his face.

The boy’s body twisted and rattled as he slowly transformed. His face lengthened, his hands turned into big claws, his body grew bigger. The two men jumped backward startled. Unfortunately one of them was slower, the thing grabbed his head and with a simple movement it crashed his skull.

“Nobody knows how it’s like, if a real demon lives in somebody. Horrible, dreadful and you can’t control it. I am… the demon itself”

Before the gang a bloodthirsty monster stood. His head was similar to a horned skull, killer passion was burn in his blood-red eyes. His long black body ended with skeleton tail, his sharp claws dug into the ground, blade-like wings grew out from his back.

“The boy told you to not do. Well… you’ll never do it again” a wicked grin crept across the creature’s mouth, showing his big fangs.

The men glared upon him in shock.

“D…D-DEMOOOOOOOOON!” screamed one of them whereof the others tried to escape. The demon was faster.

He bounced between the gang, claws flashed, screams surrounded over the cemetery.

“No… stop it” moaned Chill in the darkness. The demon slashed one man’s side. Blood bubbled. “Stop it…” It bit through another’s throat. Scream of death…

“ENOUUUUGH!” yelled Chill. In the next moment he was again in the cemetery. His body trembled and gasped by the efforts. Around him was a great carnage. Tore up bodies, guts and limbs were all around, blood dropped from the nearby graves.

“What have you done?” he whimpered.

“Nothing wrong. The world keeps moving without some vermin.” answered the demon.

“You don’t understand it Kazar-duum? You killed them!!!”

“And?”

“Why you just look like this? Why you always kill?” covered his head with his face the boy.

“You know. For revenge! You just know it well what the humans had done before” answered Kazar-duum.

For the guy a picture flashed up. A kind face that distorted into a painful scream in the next moment.

“Those monsters killed her. That’s fair if we pay it back!”

Chill sighed then stood up “You’re right… this is how fair” said on colorless voice.

“Good boy” chuckled the demon.

The guy slowly turned and not looking at the corpses he walked back to the stone-cross where he left his guitar.

He looked upon the chining Moon, his fingers started playing again.

“Ah how sad is the night wind, here in the cemetery. And I just wait to being found, deep in my grave. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, I’ll be with there. And you’ll be waiting me in the other world, my dear love.”
