Prologue: A Promise Made Despite Losses


Every year there is a EX Tournament and every year racers in teams tried their best to win a great fortune. Each team is sponsored by a Extreme Gear manufacturing company and ties their best to make it to the top three in order to increase their chances on getting a prize.

This story is of one particular team sponsored by Flash-Accel Inc. and their main rider, a blue wolf named Seth Colbor. Every time he raced to get the prize, he winds up in last place. It has been happening for the last 8 races so far because of one reason; Marco the Bat.

Marco and his team was sponsored by the top ranking company, EX Supreme, and came in first place in the races leaving poor Seth in the dust. But the young wolf wouldn’t give up. He wouldn’t do so because of one small thing that causes his determination to grow.

A promise that he made to a dear friend in the hospital. He promised he would get the prize money to get her cured.

As he looked onto the gloating rival after he came in last, his thoughts went to that promise, *I swear, Rashida, I’ll beat the smirk off of this bat and get you the money you need.*

O.K here's who I'm doing a story with! None other than !

I bet you guys are wondering, "What about your other collab story?!?"

Well my other fellow writer for "Adventure of a Spellcaster," is lacking inspiration for that story and I'm not sure when he'll get it back. So until then, AOAS is currently on hiatus, just like "Sonic Mystery Dungeon," but that will get off as SOON as "A New Side of Shadow: Lost Memeories Found" is done.

So here's a bit of a summary about "EX Pulse Speed":

Seth Colbor is a exteme gear racer that is always put in last place due to Marco the bat. His sponsor, Flash-Accel Inc., for his team, which consists of Tara the Hedgehog as mechanic and Scouter the Raccoon as info gatherer, says if he looses the last race, the sponsorship is cut in half!

On top of all that, he made a promise to a friend who's hospitalized that he'll get the money to help her!

He races again, but gained a new power that causes him to win not only the prize, but the interest of someone else in the shadows.

Pretty cool huh?

Well the official first chapter will be up when I get it done as well as my other stories so hang tight!
