The drive of this image was pure frustration, other then that you might not want to know.
Perhaps, it's my rebellion against having 'be perfect' in your artwork shoved down my throat. Honestly, wants the point of these perfectly colored and rendered pieces? Isn't that what photos are for? Just my opinion...
Other then that, it is also a practice with digital media (wooooo....e_e)

And yeah, I've never seen the point in learning to paint (digitally or traditionally) photorealistically unless you are going to use that talent you got copying photos to create your own stuff...and anyway it's not always interesting.
