Divided We Fall

For once I actually paid closer attention as to how long it takes me to do something. I worked on this picture for a good five hours straight. My eyes feel funny.

Speaking of eyes, it’s kinda hard to get some sort of expression out of these, cuz I can’t use lids and pupils as easily to convey emotion. But hey, that caused me to put more effort in parts I never realized before that I seemed to neglect. Like the mouth. I did more to the mouth than I probably would have had I had more to do with the eyes. Probably can’t tell, but I did D: Tried to use the body better too. Not sure if I did too good a job with that stuff... but damn was this fun to color.

Kinda had this picture idea in my head ever since I saw on of them souls torn away in one of the trailers. Little bit ago, I decided to do it to them twins. Though, it ended up turned around from what I had been originally thinking of. In my head, it was the dying one who was further away, I wanted to show their face instead. But I realized that it was the other one’s facial expression that was more important.
