My Kenyan sand boa was hungry enough to not let me take the pinky away so she can down it down the hatch the right way. She had managed to swallow it sideways. I know this had to be quite painful and probably a bad idea.. but I didn't want to rip it out of her mouth and hurt her so I trusted if she could do it she could have it, or she could figure out that it wasn't the right way. But anyways, thought it was interesting, she fed this way before. I caught it on video on my youtube the first time ( my youtube: youtube.com/crimsoninhumanblood ) she has a knack for being twisting her body around on her back.

That reminds me of Jeff Dunham and his brain dead chihuahua.

*cringes* Eep! Poor baby....I love snakes but somehow seeing a cute little baby rodent being swallowed down like a pill makes me sad. Beautiful boa by the way.

Oh, wow. Nature is so scary and strange.
You have such a beautiful boa, by the way.

Aodf Says:

I fed my baby corn a live pinky today.
Was neat to watch him coil around it.

Pretty snake.

And don't worry about the sideways thing.
Mine always grabs them by the side too, but then he repositions them to swallow head or butt first.

D'aww...
I remember when my Ball Pythons were babies and they ate pinkies. They're on mediums now.
