Chapter 7

Fire


Carla Looked down at the man,
“Well, I'm not sure if we're here to help you...But I'll gladly help” Carla Said with a smile, she looked round at Mark and Soulryuu.
“We are going to help them...Right?” Carla asked. Soulryuu walked up to the man,

“Just what exactly do you need help with?” Soulryuu asked, The man turned round and pointed at a castle on a hill that looked like it was still under construction.

“That castle holds a king who wishes to tax everything in our village, if we refuse or even attempt to fight back his guards smash our homes and shops, anything we own” The man said,

“That's just Mean!” Carla Said, Soulryuu nodded

“That's kings for you” He said.

“There must be something we can do?” Carla asked. Soulryuu looked up at the castle.

“I think I have an idea...It won't be easy but I'm sure there's something we can do” Soulryuu said,
“You two follow me,”

Mark and Carla followed Soulryuu into a small alleyway, it was so cramped Mark and Carla had to go though it one at a time. Once out the alleyway Mark Carla and Soulryuu were outside the village and next to another forest, but this one was much much smaller. There was a path leading up the hill to the castle which Soulryuu walked up to.

“You two need to learn two things, one is to fly, the other to breath fire” Soulryuu said,

“Whoa, whoa, whoa let's get this straight, you think we can breath fire and fly?” Mark asked, Soulryuu looked at Mark.

“That's kind of a stupid question considering you're dragons” Soulryuu said,
“Now if I remember this correctly breathing fire is kinda like spitting but with fire” Soulryuu said scratching the back oh his head.

“Oh great that's cool cause I used to spit fire all the time when I was a kid” Mark said sarcastically. Soulryuu looked at Mark,

“Heh, heh, heh, real funny” Soulryuu said,
“Just try it but instead don't stop continue to blow” Soulryuu said,

“Yeah okay I'll just burn the inside of my mouth, no thanks” Mark went on. Soulryuu sighed.

“Carla Will you try it please?” Soulryuu asked, Carla nodded.
At first there was no fire, but after a few seconds of blowing,

“WHOA!” Soulryuu said ducking from the fire, Carla immediately stopped.

“Oh my god, i'm sorry” Carla said putting her hand over her mouth,

“no...no it's okay, damn...well at least you got the fire thing down...Now you just need to learn how to fly” Soulryuu said.
