One Class to Another -- Chapter 4
A white room.
The room was entirely white, save for a few medicine cabinets and a wooden locker. There was a very slight blueish hue due to the lighting. Sniper walked ahead. "The respawn room.." He muttered as he walked up to a large steel door. It didn't move. "....Looks like we're stuck in da respawn room, mates." He said, turning back to everyone. "Hey guys, look!" Everyone turned around. Scout was standing in front of a door that had a board over it, saying "ROOMS" in fine bold print. "I think I found our rooms!" Engineer walked up to Scout, with Pyro hugging his arm and following him. "...Then let's go inside." Scout nodded and opened the door, running down a long hallway. There were rooms on both sides, five on the left, four on the right. They seemed to be ordered in some way. The rooms were labeled as following: Scout, Pyro, Soldier, Demolitions, Engineer, Heavy Artillery, Sniper, Medic, Spy. Pyro and Engineer walked down looking for their rooms. "Hea's mai rhoom.." Pyro said, stopping and letting go of Engineer's arm. Engineer nodded, and walked down, stopping two rooms away. "...Hey, we're only two rooms apart.." The rest of the BLU team filled in fast, looking for the door with their class name on it.
Engineer slowly grabbed the knob and opened the door. He peeked inside. The entire room was blue, and it was cluttered up with blue papers, and some books. He walked into the messy room. Whoever the last Engineer was, certainly wasn't very clean.. Engineer began to pick up the blue papers, which appeared to be blueprints. They had various designs, from guns to trains. As he picked them up, he slowly grew more curious. ...I'll look at 'em later. He thought. He placed them on the bed, and then picked up the various books. They were mostly building books. However, one of them caught his eye. Engineer picked it up. It appeared to be an old journal. "Huh.. I'll have to check it out later." He murmured to himself, placing it on top of the books. He placed it atop the stack of books and placed them on the bed as well.
Pyro slowly peeked into the room. "...prit'y meh'yy.." She said, slowly. Engineer looked back. "Oh, uh, yeah, it is... Shouldn't you be in yer room?" Pyro shrugged. "Eh't's bh'rr'ehng," Shyly, she walked into the room. "ahn' ah whas whunterehng eh'ff y'uu.." She fell silent. Engineer stared at her, piecing the words together. ".....wondering..?" He was getting the hang of Pyro's speech. "....eh'ff y'uu w'nt'd t' pl'yy.." She felt silly for asking that. What grown-up would wanna play?
..A fun loving one, it appears. Engineer grinned, and nodded. "Play..? Sure thing, I'm perty bored anyways." Pyro felt relieved. "Wh'hh.. o'kh th'nn!" She smiled under her mask and walked inside.
