Her name is Lightsul, and she's one of my characters that I've had for a long, long time now. She's going to be a major character in my story that I've been working on for 6 years. Lightsul is around 22, very spunky and quick-witted, but is also some other things as well. :3 She's almost completely developed--I will start on some attacks and abilities soon.
As for the technique, I decided I didn't like my old chunky way of coloring. I made a crayon-like coloring job last night and decided to trash it in favor of a wispy, watercolor-y airbrush effect. Honestly, I like this coloring method much more than my usual. It feels more airy and delicate, which I like.

What program did you use? The watercolour effect is beautiful!
Feadraug Says:
I like this effect for coloring as it gives the picture a watercolor effect, but your usual coloring isn't bad at all - I wish I could do half the stuff you do.
Also, she looks fine to me. Simple yet charismatic.

Love the simplicity of this, yet there is still a strong sense of emotion behind it.
