Introduction

“So, I just have to make a character, huh? Sounds easy enough…” A high school student was in his room.

His computer was in the left wall, the bed on the right and window in the back. Clothes and papers were scattered around the floor of his room. The desk with the computer monitor on it also had a stack of books a foot high, on top of the stack was the M2D and controller.

“Let’s see here… I know I want to be an Adept Rogue but what classes… I think I’ll start as a Tribal Grappler and then after the job extension I guess I’ll go with a Flick Reaper.” The teenager clicked the two classes and spent the points for them.

“Okay, what’s next? Heh, guess I have to decide on a look… Let’s go with that hair.” He chose spiky white hair. “Hmmmm, those eyes look cool.” He picked angry red eyes. “That tattoo looks like it’ll work out pretty cool.” He picked a tattoo that went down from his lower lip to his neck. “I don’t really want to start with any of these shirts, so I’ll skip that… Let’s go with those pants.” He picked black bell-bottom pants with bright blue dragon designs going up the sides with fire at the bottom of the legs.

“Okay, now let’s see how I look in game… Let’s get this thing started up.” He said anxiously but still apathetic.

“Alex, Ed! Time for dinner!” The boy’s mother called.

“Dang it…” He left his room.

The next day Alex got back from school and started up “The World”. He put on his M2D and picked up the controller. “Whoa… this is pretty cool, nice graphics too.” He watched a girl in skimpy and revealing clothes use the chaos gate then she was swept up by a weird blue light. “Cool… Guess I’ll just walk around for a bit.” He stepped out into the city.

“So, this is Mac Anu.” He looked around another player bumped into him, knocking him over. “What the, who the hell’re you?” Alex’s PC asked.

“Ugh, Gaspard… How many times do I have to tell you ‘stop running into the other players.’” A character with green clothes and brown hair that came down in a weird tail walked over to the two and pulled the little beast character off of Alex’s.

The character that ran into Alex’s was a small yet chubby beast type character. It looked almost like a pig because of its short, round appearance. It had brown floppy ears, each with a small silver hoop earring. “I’m sorry Silabus, it was an accident.” The little character cried.

“I’m sorry about him, it was accident. If I can do something to make this up to you just let me know… Hey, you’re a new player aren’t you?”

“Uh, yeah, this is my first time actually logging on and playing.”

“How would you like to join our guild? It’s called Canard. We help new players learn how to play “The World” and have fun with it. How about Gaspard and I take you to an area and teach you the basics, then maybe later we can teach some of the more advanced controls.”

“That sounds good, c’mon let’s go.”

“Ah, so… He’s the last one I need to find… I should talk to him when he get’s back from the area…” A man with blue hair, round orange sunglasses, strange white clothes and some sort of machine on his left arms said. He was covered by the same blue light that swept up the girl.

“Hmm… If Ovan needs that boy maybe there is something special about him… Maybe he’s like Haseo…?” A strange character that almost looked like a floating cat said.

“If Ovan thinks there’s something special about this PC maybe he could become a valuable asset to GU… Pi, keep an eye on the character known as Alex” A character with short blonde hair, small round glasses strange tattoos around his face and strange red clothes that went up to his right shoulder with a strange golden pieced that almost looked like a sun.

“Yes, Master Yata…” A woman with pink hair tied up into two big pink pig tails, skimpy red clothes, almost like lingerie and rectangular glasses.
