dream chaser
The new found smell in the woods allowing the sun to fall
My paws scrape the earth looking for a way to run for myself
The grass and mud fly behind me as I run further
The sent of rabbits and other game make their presence known
The smell of others among me making my senses go blind
The brush of tree limbs and bushes brush though my fur
The small glade in front of me welcomes me with open arms
My wolven body needing the run
The human body needing the rush of adrenalin
I feel sluggish from the over working desire to run far
The need to reach home before people find me burst through my body
I run bursting through the trees and into the clearing
Sensing trouble and haring voices make me run faster
Trying to get to safety I reach fro more speed and strength
The house in front of me safe enough
I change back to my human body throwing clothes on
I let my sense out and fine no one
Needing the clear to run
I get my chance
Hearing bullets whiz by as I run
Go!
Run! Don’t stop!.
Wake up. O thank god just a dream
