God's Windowsill
If god or a spirit or some sort of divine goodness exists, then why does he/she/it allow people to suffer?
If a fluttering moth is caught between window glass and screen, do you stop what you're doing and help it escape? Every time? Or do you leave it to its hopeless struggle because really, who cares about a tiny, insignificant moth? If you don't let it out, does that make you a bad person?
Later, just sweep the dead bug off the sill. Toss the bodies in a ditch. Begone, ridiculous guilt.

If we didn't suffer, could we truly appreciate happiness?
Also, does "God" have to have control over what happens to us in order to exist?
