I thought it was about time I started drawing some of my Spore creations. This little guy was so cute when I made him.
For the shading I went into experimenting with cel shading. I thought I'd try making it look like he's sitting near a campfire (or a mystical orb of POWA!!). Also I found a tutorial for a quicker way of doing cel shading, except I made it longer by making an extra layer for darker shadows.
The space background also came out right because I downloaded actions for that. Thank god for actions.
