9. Daughter of Ash and Frost *part two*

.art two:.

A wave of nausea hit Ava hard as she followed the flight pattern of Blaine, as he dodged clouds and weaved in and out of the birds.
“We’re going down Avania,” he shouted, then dived. Ava followed his close behind. The feel of the wind on her face was cold as the rain poured heavily.
Landing on the rooftop of a black tiled castle, Ava’s eyes caught those of her watcher Blaine, his smile was more fanged now.
He held his hand out to her as her wings folded slightly around her. “Ready Princess?”
The wolf’s heart raced, something so seductive made her walk towards him, like she was ment to. His stare was so cold, but Ava felt so warm. Her heart filled with something else that moment.
The male wolf kicked in a black door of wood, and the two were met with the smell of firewood and cinnamon. The air was pleasant and inviting.
The air began to grow warmer and warmer, so much that Ava’s hair and wet clothes were beginning to feel warmer. “Here Princess,” Blaine had bowed and pointed towards a large grey door, “behind this door is a room, specially lain for you,” he smiled.
Ava smiled back,
‘A room of my own? This seems kind of odd’
“There’ll be a change of clothes for tonight’s dining, I hope you are able to join us,” he said, his accent was quite amusing trying to pronounce strong English sounding words. Kissing Ava on the hand, he left her to change and prep herself for the evening ahead.
Pushing the hollow door forwards, Ava peered around, there was a roaring fire, and the bedroom was bigger than her living room. A sparkling chandelier welcomed the nervous female. As she glanced around at the luxurious room, her eyes grew as she saw a very intimidating painting with glaring blue eyes which stared at her from above the roaring fire. It was a brown wolf with a female fox who looked quite familiar to Ava.
Cocking her head to the side, Ava’s eyes scanned the picture. Just the sheer intensity of his face made her wince slightly.
“What’s your problem?” she muttered. He knew him from somewhere, and the blonde vixen standing beside him had the look of care and love shimmering from her bright brown eyes. The young wolf/fox felt a strange feeling of sensation.
“That gentleman in the painting Madam is the Count of this Castle,” a matured woman’s voice appeared from nowhere, startling Ava.
“Woah! Please!” she breathed, “I hate it when people creep up on me like that!”
“It was a blue female echidna, with the same dead blue eyes and fangs as Blaine.
“Forgive me Madam, my name is Sky, I am the Head Maid of this grand castle,” there was a slight twang of French in her accent. “The Count has been expecting you,” she smiled a toothy grin towards Ava.
“Oh, erhm, well, I’m…”
“I know exactly who you are Princess, and the Count was hoping you’d mind if he escorted you to dinner, because Avania, as you’ve come to realise,” her smile seemed to drop. “We’ve been waiting for you for a very long time,”
Ava turned towards her after the echidna bowed, “there’s a dress and a tiara for you to change into Princess, please, use as many of my girls as you need to prepare you, for your return must be memorable,” Sky smiled. Her shimmering blue eyes made Ava seemed hypnotized. "Please, change into these robes for Count Morias,he'll be most pleased,"
