Anyone remember this version of Pikachu?
Curls on the ears (like Raichu -see Pikachu backsprite), brown paws, feet, chest, a white tip, and that very long tail(front) make up the old Pikachu sprite!
If I recall, the back sprite was still used for Pokemon Yellow version but the front sprite had been changed to the anime Pikachu. The design has been relatively the same since.
But, this version is cute for sure!

I always considered this version the 'real' pikachu ... though, i dont remember the curls on the ears. did that appear in blue and red?
