Happy birthday, Takashidaimao!
http://www.Takashidaimao.deviantart.com/ is in LOVE with japanese dragons and such, mainly because of Dragonball Z and Dragonball- especially loves Piccolo and that whole Nemician (sp?) race.
SO
I based this eastern dragon's design on Shenron, the dragon that's summoned when you find all the dragon balls. I didn't have a ref or anything for the character, so it's kinda my own take on the guy.
It took me a looooooong time to finish all the details and I got most of them to show up in the scan through editting in PS.
I finished it while ~Takashidaimao was getting a tattoo! Very first one was a whole half sleeve on the upper arm!! D:
It's not done yet, it has to heal and then get details done on it, but man is it COOL. :3
