Thanas, Geneva, Mordecai and Meshullam

Four characters I pretty much have nailed down.

Thanas: A very dark man with a troubled past. He's also Meshullam's older half-brother, but was denied the crown for having been born out of wedlock. He became entangled with the occult, permanently weakening his body- an accident caused the loss of his left eye and severe burn scars on his face. He's shunned by society and tries to live quietly in the palace.

Geneva: He comes from a desert climate. Goggles and various types of eye protection are common for his type of people. Geneva's also very superstitious, for example, he always makes sure he steps over a home's threshold with his left foot.

Mordecai: A young man of remarkable character. He's the oldest of eight children. His parents passed away due to illness when he was fifteen years old. Now he personally protects the royal family.

Meshullam: Emperor of (Nation I have not yet named...). He's calm and peaceable, always seeking to maintain peace with other nations, but willing to go to war should the need arise. He inherited the throne when his father was executed on charges of rape. His mother soon after fell ill and died.
