The sword you carried has slain too many a dragon,
Your hands indeed are stained with its crimson blood;
For what does this victory hold for such a lonely knight
Without a maiden's love to consecrate this glorious fight?

Seeing your maiden love has chosen another knight
Is compellingly unbearable for your loving heart's sight;
As you walked away your heart is broken like glass dome
Shattering all the dreams you had fervidly envisioned.

So restlessly you went on, traveling far hither and yonder
Amongst singing rivers and the dark depths of the earth,
Steadily following a phoenix on its supple flight unbound
In search of a love that's never seemed to be found.

The earth you have trodden far upon your wanderings
Can only sigh sympathy by its murmuring streams,
Your feet have caught blisters for traveling so long
Yet still you cannot find comfort for such a sorrow.

Why don't you look closer, instead of going far?
For the one is here to soothe your weary heart;
Despair not for I am not very far but one step away
All you need to do is turn around and look my way.

Look at this maiden's heart that upon your sight it sings
And bestow upon me a deserved and abundant blessing;
Here is my hand to hold during cold, desolate moments
And my lips to kiss and wipe away all of past love's torment.

Nothing can ever come across between such caress
And I shall put your exhausted heart in melodious rest;
Passionately my love will catch you and your every fall
I am here now, oh my gallant knight! Be lonely no more.
