A group of adventurers foulishly ignored the warnings of the people living on the very edge of the empire about the dangers that haunt the northen forests...

They whent past the borders of the dukedome of Beaumont and entered the unexplored forests in search for the lost treasures of the long abandoned fortress of Lohrenguard, witch... the story gues... were never recovered from it's vaults. Of course, only 3 days in their treck through the thick forboading woods they stumble on a dragon hatchling separated from it's parents... They imediatly realised that such a catch would be far more valuable than chasing the legend of a lost treasure...

After bravelly slaying the beast ( yea... they walked up to it and stabbed it without the poor thing having any chance to even run, beying toop frightened of the intruders ).

With the "ferocious" dragon's corpse now safetly in their posetion they proceded to return southwards to claim their fame, glory and coin...

The last things they ever saw was flashes of light from the woods around them, and faint ghostly wispers that echoed on the breaze...

To this day this is the bigest shame on the heads of the elven borderguards that keep the southern forests of the elven lands secure from intrusion from the south... and also to this day, it was never revealed exactly how a roudy bunch of humans managed to infiltrate the elven borders without beying detected...

But their bodies would be displayed in proper crucifiction at the edge of the forest as a warning to any other brave adventurers who would think there's glory to be had in the northlands...
