not really, haha

He's just a young wizard with a lot of confidence. He has some experience fighting monsters, so he wants to test himself by getting rid of the Jagernoughts. He thinks that sooner or later, the Selachori will be mobilizing against Vernalia, (His and the other humans' homeworld. At least in this story.) so he thinks he'll be just the answer to the problem of the unstoppable killing machine. Course, like I said, he's never really faced one before. He just figures they're regular Selachori that are bigger and that people spread innumerable rumors about. No big deal.

Also, that light coming from his hood isn't actually anything but light. He enchanted his hood to do that, mostly just he thinks it makes him look impressive, and that it'll scare away bears, because bears are really scary! Instead though, it makes him look like a flashlight. Which the group will exploit most of the time

Miasma and the others have already heard Soledad's prophecy, talking about the Jagernought, and since she couldn't get too many details from her visions, they don't know what might happen. So, when they hear of a "renowned Jagernought killer", they take him up on it. He's practically jumping up and down, he's so excited to join them. Of course, Valt's the only one who thinks the kid is full of it, since he's seen the Jagernoughts himself. But the others think it's better to be safe than sorry.

Anyhow, I like how this picture came out. Been a while since I've opened up photoshop. The regular vector's here, if you want to see it.

By the way, he also has cards that he uses to help convey his emotions better. He uses his light kind of like a projector, so the shadows help out a bit. I wanted to draw them but they came out weird.

Thanks for all the help,

Ya know Stormy, I don't comment much, but I really love your character design.

They're all just so Whimsical.

giascle Says:

Great use of textures. He should have that effect where they stay in the same spot when he moves.

Kodfish Says:

I like how this story is turning out.

It's a good thing Irving has his light-hood.
Bears are the most dangerous animal!

I'm a sucker for hood tricks.
Heh, he's like the complete opposite of the Shaedo. Love the personality you gave him, you can see it in the picture.

Cman7 Says:

Huh, kinda cool to see a hood casting out light instead of the usual shadow.

Jogemu Says:

His face will be a mystery forever.

ArtpurplecaT Says:

Ahh you finished it! And the cape looks much better now :]
Glad to see you used the card for the emotions idea aswell, great job
