Barn Owl in Watercolors

This is/was my first water color picture. I normally use acrylics, but a few months ago I bought some cheap water colors to play with, and then about a month ago I actually decided to use them.

So many problems, but I'm learning....I should really buy some water color brushes. OTL

I haven't actually touched this in 2 weeks. It has a tiny bit more done to it than this photo. I kind of lost inspiration....not a big water color fan so far, but that's probably because I'm using the wrong materials and techniques.


I can't sleep, and randomly thought I should post this since I haven't posted real animal art in awhile.
