this came to me when the dark earl had come over to visit (thank you). when i heard of the reflection of one's self or that 'evil' can come from within, i thought of the 14th and Allen's struggle with it (also, he is in the first uniform because he 'had' that one when he saw that dream that forshadowed the 14th).

the reflection and 14th have more sparkle or "light" to give it a more "interesting" feel... to represent that it's more 'dream-like'. think of the way tim burton utilizes color to make "death" more beautiful (such as in corpse bride).
