X______x I've been working on this since MONTHS. It's again the kind of picture that I look at and say "I did this? OMG!", although working on this for so long made me unsure of many things.

The Gimp-for-painters patch (which I didn't use for the whole pic, but when I installed it it gave me a huge help to finish this beast off).
Background is referenced from Saber vs Rider match in the game, just without the cracks, I'm figuring they just reached the rooftop and are about to get started.
Sadly, I wasn't able to sketch the pose just by looking at the reference pic, and I eventually had to make a grid T_T my eye is totally untrained for this (I tried hard before giving up, but I failed epically, so let the grid be
; ). I also tried to tweak with her height later (as Saber's supposed to be uber short --don't remember the exact height though--
), but I still feel she's too tall
; but maybe it's an impression O_o it's hard to compare the heights between strongly stylized anime and real people.
I attempted to give some sort of distortion to the background but I feel I quite failed at that. I think I miss the basics of how it really works.
those who voted my comic on TWC lately might notice that I actually rotated everything to the left, after having worked for months with Saber inclined to the right lol. I suddenly though it looked like she was slopping down since also her gown was oriented in that direction.
