Well, that didn't turn out quite as well as I hoped. I think I should have just done the portrait of Thalia I'd originally planned.
YES I DID THE BACKGROUND PATTERN ENTIRELY BY HAND LOLOLOLOL nah it actually wasn't that bad.
I tried a new shading method than my usual painstaking layering of like five or six colors. I like it but not for this painting.

Aaaaah look at those veins! That, to me, is the most striking part, not to mention the face-melting fleur-de-lys wallpaper.

I really love this picture all together, the background is especially great (I love the sink the most)
Hayden's head looks a little off, its as if its not quite a full profile view but you can't see the other side of his face at all (not even a little) either that or he has a kind of flat face with a big forehead. But I can see that in the reference his head is tilted downward a little which makes it understandable that it'd be difficult to draw. Her hair could have been done better, but I love the colors.
Hayden's head aside, the amount of work you put into this is very clear and I think you did a wonderful job and ended up with a great result.

I love the background! And the way Thalia's pants are halfway off. And everything.
My computer decided to take a dog's age to make this load. :u
Goodness. Her skin discolouration is also very well rendered. I always wish I can use watercolours half as good as you, no less have that kind of patience for anything.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT. You either must hate or love the Fleur de Lis by now
