Victorian Lies
All around thine eyes deceive,
Of mirrored lenses,
Of false-told truths.
And these same folk join once or more,
With rushes lived
and moans say not.
Yet under skies not tainted thus,
The minds force beats,
Beneath bosoms unrest.
Yet you are surely the only one,
while rushes live, nobody
falls in love.
