Chapter 6

I hobbled along leaning heavily on Scarlett and Dawn. I really hoped Mil was ok she was my only friend in the whole world and the only person who understood me. However Scar and Dawn seemed to think of me as a friend so maybe they could help us. We hobbled around a rock, I think it was the one that I swing her round before I dropped her but I couldn't be sure it looked a bit spikier from midair.
"From my calculations she should be near here," Dawn said stopping.
"Her calculations are never very good," Scarlett whispered to me, "she is a total sucker at Maths."
"Whatever," Dawn replied, "I'm as good as you."
"Yes but I'm naturally disabled in that area and your just dum," Scarlett replied. Dawn stuck her tong out at her twin. We carried on hobbling around the rock. I peered round the last bit, I saw a stretch of sand surrounded by some rocks and the sea. I recognized it as the place I dropped Mil, but where was Mil?
"There," cried Dawn pointing. I followed Dawn's finger and saw a figure lying on the sand the waves nearly reaching it. I broke into a run pushing Scarlett and Dawn out of the way. But soon the pain rushed back and I crippled over and fell. Dawn pulled me back up and gave me a piggy back to where the figure was. The clothes were torn and wet but they were defiantly Mil's. I reached down and pulled the hood from her head. Mil's eyes were closed and her face was pail.
"On no," I cried throwing myself at Mil.
"Don't worry," Dawn told me, "she's still breathing but we need to get her to hospital quickly."
"But we can't go to the hospital," I replied. I hated hospitals and Doctors they smell bad and they are full of sick people who have catchy viruses. "The people would ask questions and they'd take us
back to the lighthouse."
"Its ok," Scarlett stroked my back, "our dad is very good at first aid he can help you and Mil, he is trained to be a doctor but now he just looks after us."
"Yer," Dawn continued, "come back to ours and Dad can look after Mil," without waiting for an answer Dawn picked me up and put me back on her back and Scar picked Mil up and we set off towards their house.
