A WIP of a picture of Princesses Selenity and Uranus. Why yes, they do have different designs and different outfits. As much as I like the manga dresses, I just wanted an excuse to design moar pretty gowns for everyone since...well, I already redesigned/imagined them anyway.
Even though this is from an Utena and Anthy image, Uranus' design is NOT based on Utena but rather Lady Oscar from Rose of the Versailles. I haven't seen the anime of it or read the manga, but I do know of it from reputation. And Lady Oscar = Uranus y/y? Plus French Rococo Outfits are snazzy.
Probably the hardest part about this was the fugging Space Sword. I did the manga base of it because it is PRETTIER and Silver > Gold in my book. I redid it like four times before I was happy with it >.o
I think I put it on the wrong side. Oh well.
