Urrrg, I hate doing lineart. I was stressing the whole time because I think it is too detailed and too light. In the sketch she was in a flashy pose and I had about 12 different species of bog plants drawn in, but that killed me so I simplified it. Her outfit is based off the purple pitcher plant, and she is standing in a lotus field. Oh well, even with the stress I am thoroughly surprised and satisfied with the end result....maybe one day I will color this too.
To Bandy:
Let me know how this prints for you if you are still going to do it traditionally. I had to scale it down to fit the paper, but if your printer/software can't do that just let me know and I will resize it. Same thing for if it is too light, I will darken/thicken it if needed. Or, if you want, feel free to go at it with a sharpy marker, ink pen, etc.
I left most of the BG blank for you to experiment with, if you want too. If everything looks good to you, and you are still interested in coloring this, let me know and I will email the lines to you a.s.a.p. I will also send a basic guide to figure out what is what in the lines too, that way you don't have to second guess anything.
Oh, and if you need help editing after you are finished let me know. I know that scanning/photographing images tends to wash out colors and blur details.

This is so gorgeous.. I just love it! I can't wait to color it~
However.. I don't know how I'm going to do watercolors on this. My printer can't print on the thick watercolor paper, so I think I might go have it printed on that paper somewhere.. Otherwise I have some pretty thick paper I could use to paint, though I'm not sure what will come of it. I'll try it out.
Meanwhile, if you could send me a darker version of this without the text, that would be great. That way I can print it better. I'm currently working on a sketch right now for my part, but I'm slow so yeah.. I'll scan the lines asap. |D
