Love On Short Notice
It killed me to have to say goodbye.
Now I'm watching as time slowly passes me by.
The short time we spent talking to each other was amazing.
You made my day so much better.
Now I can't get you off my mind.
You’re driving my insane.
I’m constantly thinking about you.
I don’t know what I’m to do.
I’d give anything to see you just once more.
I only hope you haven’t forgotten.
The short time we spent together was amazing.
It’s as if you saw into my soul.
There was no judgement between us,
Only understanding.
You haven’t a clue,
How much I need someone like you.
I just hope that my time spent,
With you wasn’t wasted.
If you’d have said you loved me at that time,
I would have believe you.
If I did the same,
Would you have believe me?
I hardly know you,
Yet I’m willing to give oyu my heart.
Hopefully this means something.
Another heartbreak is far more,
Than I can handle at this time.
For now I can only hope,
That I will see you again.
But until that fateful day,
This is all I have to say.
