Another satisfactory experiment with Truchet that took another 4 hours to render. I've got a small regret for going with the purple/green color scheme.
It looks really nice to me. Very intricate and swirly-whirly (technical terms ftw!). Maybe you are right with the colours, but I think it looks ok with these too.
