Myra Matsumura is Sara's little eight year old sister, and a video game junky extraordinair. What nobody realized was just what kind of influence that had on her. At eight years old, Myra is arguably the best young strategist the GCFA naval commanders, and even Sun Tsu himself have ever seen. Scoff if you must, but know that you were out witted by an eight year old who still needs help pouring her own cereal.
And today, she's got "A New Strategy."
I go for a kind of twist with this track, opening up almost like the dark ambience of some Real Time Strategy track, but warping it into an almost silly cute sounding beat before I begin to build it towards a roller coaster of epic climaxes. The song was based on a previous BGM track I made for Myra: "Strategy, Cuteness Kills" which is located within the confines of my account.
This was not an easy track to produce, I took extra time to figure out how to progress some sections to ensure I pulled my 'twist' off correctly.
The synth sitting right in the middle of the melody is a direct replacement for a lead singer, as well as another synth as the backup singer. Once I finish lyrics for this, I'll post them.
