I know, I know, I'm an insensitive ass.
Honestly, last week, I don't think I'm the only one who started thinking like Rorschach. Four celebrities going that quickly is one heck of a coincidence, and is ripe for parody.
I knew I wanted to do a bait and switch where I open on Rorschach and it turns out to be someone ridiculous. Also, I needed a celebrity with the same first name as Nite Owl, so we have Danny Devito and Rob Schneider. I think I did okay on my interpretation of Devito, Schneider... I lean on the dialogue quite a bit to make sure you know that it's him. The trouble with Schneider is he's most recognizable with that bit hair he had circa "The Animal", but he has to be in a hat for this whole scene, so... yeah.
Wanted to color this, but also wanted to get it done fast enough that it would still be topical.
